The CHOC Tower II added 144 beds to the facility and provided themselves a physical and operational identity.
The design incorporated a new ER, OR and D & T capabilities that were showcased in a clean and contemporary interior concept.
Wayfinding was a major element, with travel and navigation guides woven seamlessly into the interior concepts to allow for intuitive direction.
The use of abstract natural references allowed the institution to ground themselves in the context of their origins while reaching across a multi-lingual, multi-cultural range of clients.
