Corporate Interiors

575,000ft²

Inventure has continuously worked with Energy Transfer Partners at 1300 Main to ensure they are maximizing the building’s real estate. During the longstanding partnership, Inventure has worked throughout the 575,000 square foot building to redesign the main lobby, renovate multiple full floors, and managed two corporate consolidation projects with their Operations Group and Sunoco Pipeline.

With every renovation, our goal is to blend with the existing architecture of the 1955 bank building. The design is developed around Energy Transfer Partners’ finish and graphic standards. These spaces meet a variety of end user needs within the building, from legal and IT to 24/7 pipeline control room. We partner with each end user to ensure every group will operate successfully so the individual space fits their immediate and future needs. For the main lobby, the security desk not only needed to be a beautiful focal point for the building entrance, but also provide functionality and organization for the security team. Each of the display cases were designed to highlight a rotating collection of pieces for visitors and employees to enjoy. Lobby seating was selected by designing a custom pipe bench designed to symbolize the company’s business and mirror the pipe sections displayed in the lobby.

Creating a space for the pipeline controllers to use 24/7 was exciting for the design team. Providing a comfortable space with ergonomic furniture, circadian rhythm lighting, and additional comforts was a fun challenge since each occupant uses 10 separate monitors at their stations! The space is backed up by redundant UPS and HVAC systems as well as a remote generator that sits across the street at the building’s parking garage. The design for the company’s IT personnel was also unique as the group takes calls from Energy Transfer’s various locations. Ensuring the group had ample meeting spaces, dedicated restrooms, and a break room that let them step away and not disturb others was important to the space working for this group. The success of this space has led to Inventure assisting IT with other projects separate from 1300 Main.
