Amanda Hutcheson

 Senior Associate

“Once you know what the question actually is, you'll know what the answer means.”

Wandering through museums as a child with her artist father made Amanda want to create great spaces. While her dad would get as close as possible to paintings to scrutinize them before setting off security, she was focused on how the building could curate such precious pieces. The permanence, daylighting, safety, and the beauty all led her to want to contribute the same ideals to our built world, which she’s been working to incorporate into every project for about fifteen years.

While not working, Amanda is outside very much enjoying Houston’s climate by walking in parks and sailing. She also enjoy traveling to hot springs around the US and learning to bake gluten-free goodies. She is a member of Preservation Houston, Pier and Beam, and Galveston Bay Foundation.
