Jonathan Mixon

Designer

"I am passionate about creating spaces that both function and inspire… Also, legos."

A native Houstonian, Jonathan spent his early childhood in Venezuela before returning home. After graduating from high school he spent a year abroad as an exchange student with Rotary International in Belgium. He received his bachelors of science in interior design from Texas State University before moving back to Houston. loves traveling and immersing himself in other cultures and broadening his world view. This has also influenced his design process by continually being aware of different perspectives and community needs.

Jonathan has had a love for design since he was young and always had a goal of working in the design field. As his grandfather told him, “Always leave something better than you found it.” His personal design style is progressive with a retrospective eye. He is currently pursing his certification for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and regularly volunteers with Rotary International Youth Exchange Program.
