Melissa is all about user-patient experience and hospitality. Early in her career, she fell in love with healthcare design. Health care environments are no longer the sterile environments of decades past, she says, there are lots of techniques today to ensure healthcare facilities are warm and welcoming. She has always wanted to make a positive impact and tries to achieve this through creating thoughtful interior designs for patients and health care providers. She wakes up every morning excited to create spaces where families and children feel safe and cared for. She has 14 years of experience and loves the multi-faceted world of interior design and never gets bored at work. She finds purpose building for people and is so happy she gets to do this with her life. She works hard and dances hard on dance party Fridays.

Melissa is a registered interior designer (RID), a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), a Certified Healthcare Interior Designer (CHID) and currently working towards EDAC certification. In addition to design, she is also talented at performing business development and marketing functions. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Design, Housing and Merchandising – Interior Design from Oklahoma State University. In her spare time, she participates in competitive BBQ with her family and enjoys spending time with her three sons.
