Memorial Hermann Health System, the largest not-for-profit health system in Southeast Texas, expanded into Houston’s Kingwood area with a Convenient Care Center, providing access to adult and pediatric primary care and specialty physicians.
The client required a first-class facility with an innovative design to facilitate high-quality, easily-accessible medical care for the Kingwood community. Inventure provided innovative interior design and furniture planning techniques while operating within Memorial Hermann’s finishing requirements.
A key aspect of the design was to incorporate the popular characterization of Kingwood as “the livable forest.” Many elements of nature were utilized to support this theme and also promote a stress-free environment for patients.
The project was a build-out of a shell building including an emergency department, medical group, outpatient imaging, and a sports medicine suite.
