Gone are the days when going to the ophthalmologist consists of a sterile and mundane experience.
Custom-designed wood ceiling features invite the client into the space and subtly direct them towards the reception. At reception, they are greeted and directed towards the elegantly furnished lobby waiting area. Light fixtures were thoughtfully selected to play off of the radiating patterns found in the optic nerve.
High ceilings and elegant glass partitions create a visual flow between the lobby and the optical dispensary.
Part medical and part retail, the optical dispensary is meant to showcase each frame as a work of art on custom display fixtures furnished in warm wood tones. The same wood tones accentuate the portal between the reception area and the procedure rooms.
An average day in the world involves visiting numerous nondescript, banal spaces. A visit to Dr. Le’s Eye Surgery Center should remind visitors what a gift sight is, and provide a visually pleasing and stimulating atmosphere.
