Dr. Smith wanted his new ground-up clinic to have a modern take on the French Tudor style. Inventure’s design brought in a fresh color palette to compliment the traditional design style.
Wood paneled wainscoting brings the traditional and French aesthetic indoors with a fresh take of adding modern colors. The design of this clinic kept the patient’s mental and environmental health in mind by incorporating as much natural daylight and natural finishes to the design. Material use ranged from authentic stone, natural wood tones, and bright navy to give the space depth.
Dr. Smith wanted his patients to feel one with nature to emphasize how natural environments typically make occupants feel at ease.
Large windows and natural materials throughout the building reinforced the idea that this clinic is going away from a typical sterile and bland environment. Patients are able to enjoy the warmth of a fireplace in the waiting area, creating a space that feels like home. Inventure created a calm, warm, and inviting space to help patients feel relaxed while waiting for their appointments.
