Our firm was engaged to transform an outdated shell space into a modern, functional optometry clinic located in Bellaire, Texas.
The design strategy emphasized flexibility and infrastructure readiness. While the LASIK suite is intended for a later phase, the initial renovation thoughtfully incorporates all essential building systems, structural provisions, and spatial planning to accommodate advanced equipment and evolving procedural requirements. This foresight ensures minimal disruption and cost when the future expansion is implemented.
In collaboration with the client, the layout was carefully developed to maximize patient flow, comfort, and operational efficiency.
Consideration was given to the adaptability of treatment rooms, consultation spaces, and administrative areas to respond to future technology upgrades and evolving clinical practices. Special attention was paid to maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic that aligns with healthcare standards while reflecting the professionalism and precision of the optometry field.
Throughout the process, the team worked diligently to remain within the constraints of the tenant improvement allowance.
