Skagit Regional Health proudly introduces its new Outpatient Surgical Center, set against the scenic landscape of Mount Vernon, Washington.
This 60,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art medical office building spans three floors and was designed with both patient experience and clinical efficiency in mind.
The first floor serves as the surgical hub, featuring multiple operating rooms, endoscopy suites, pre- and post-op recovery bays, and dedicated staff workspaces—all laid out to optimize patient flow and clinical function. On the upper levels, floors two and three offer a full suite of imaging services and medical offices, as well as thoughtfully designed support spaces including administrative zones, flexible conference rooms, and inviting break areas.
A signature feature of the project is the third-floor outdoor terrace, which provides a calming environment for patients, visitors, and staff alike, with sweeping views of the surrounding natural landscape.
The building is also equipped with high-performance mechanical and electrical systems, supporting energy efficiency and long-term sustainability.
The design emphasizes a balance of advanced healthcare functionality and human-centered design—creating a space that supports healing, fosters connection, and reflects the community-focused values of Skagit Regional Health.
