Inventure partnered with Thread Bank to design a flexible, future-ready workplace that supports their rapid growth.
While the client doesn’t yet occupy the full suite, the space was planned intentionally with expansion in mind—balancing current needs with long-term adaptability.
One of the key challenges was working with existing building conditions that weren’t ideal for the open ceiling concept the client envisioned. We collaborated with the building’s original MEP firm to develop a solution that concealed unsightly systems while celebrating the beauty of the exposed structure.
While the client initially wanted sealed concrete floors, we recommended a high-performance LVT that mimics concrete but offers better sound control—enhancing acoustics without compromising aesthetics.
The boardroom, located along a prominent street-facing edge, features a distinctive footprint. We designed a custom conference table to complement the unique geometry of the room and anchor it as a signature space within the office.
To support both budget and sustainability goals, all flooring was sourced from a single manufacturer to reduce shipping emissions, and all furniture was procured from a U.S.-based vendor, streamlining logistics and supporting domestic production. The result is a thoughtful, well-crafted environment that’s ready to grow with the Thread Bank team.
